Doing My Part

As the train pulled into Park St. station this morning, an elderly black man fell over and began convulsing on the floor. Some people began yelling to tell the conductor. Others began yelling at those of us in the back of the train, near the guy. I think one woman shouted, "Put his head between your legs." There were a few people who were taking control of the situation so I just stayed out of their way. As the doors opened, I decided to get help. I ran from the very back of the station to the attendant at the front as fast as I could. So fast, in fact, that my pants fell down.
