I received a trivia day calendar last year and have been holding on to a few of my favorite tearsheets for five months now. I'm dumping them here so I can finally throw the paper scraps away.

· The original name of the game Twister was Pretzel
· The name of the paint used on the Golden Gate Bridge is International Orange.
· The wettest spot on earth is the island of Kauai, with an average annual rainfall of 460 inches.
· Lobster, eel, swan and dried berries were part of the first Thanksgiving.
· Each king in a deck of playing cards represents a great king from history: Charlemagne is Hearts; Julius Caesar is Diamonds;Alexander the Great is Clubs; and King David is Spades.
